The Doodle Book is now available in my etsy shop!
MeCAF was a ton of fun, as always. Here's Bob Flynn and I at our table.
We also did a Doodle Workshop. Here, Bob demonstrates creating characters out of simple shapes.

October 17–18 in Porter Square, Cambridge, MA. I will be drawing and signing all weekend, as well as competing in Iron Cartoonist on Saturday, and leading a Mini-Comics Workshop on Sunday.
Once again, I will there with my esteemed colleague Bob Flynn. here's a shot of us from last year:
But those Heeby Jeeby Comix are almost gone! This could be your last chance to get one. I will also have a new comic book collecting a bunch of my full-color comics:
and of course I will also have my new children's book available, Hiding Dinosaurs:
Here's one thing that happens in the comic:
Come by and say hello if you have a chance. It's free! I'll draw you a free monster, too.
Yup, MeCAF.
Come by and say hello if you're in the neighborhood!
Here's a shot of me from a couple of years ago by Renee Kurilla:
A Boston monster for José-Luis Olivares
These nice people requested "a one-armed monster who is depressed, but with a glimmer of hope."
Who can't relate to that?
And I got a request for a half-Chewbacca, half-vampire:
I also got myself a new fake ID from an enterprising young man at the show. I haven't tested it out to see if it works in Massachusettes yet.
Moira Swiatkowski snapped a good shot of us. Bob looks alert and ready for action, but I look a little out of it. I think I am actually in the midst of imagining my next monster to draw as I uncap a marker!
You should come! Just look at what happened last year!
I had a great time last week at the newest comic convention, LEXICON, at Lexington High School. Awesome art teacher and cartoonist Cara Bean invited a few local artists to come share our work with a cafeteria-full of high school artists. It was fun to meet the artists, see what they were making, and even do some art trades. One of the highlights was receiving this portrait of myself in exchange for a drawing of Tomb Raider (!):
See more on Cara Bean's teaching blog (where I stole this photo from).
I saw my poster up at Brookline Booksmith last night! Woo!
Download a hi-res poster and print your own!
I am sad to say that I will not be at MICE this year. But you should still go! Bob Flynn will be representing Heeby Jeeby Comix, and I know he would love to see you! He's going to tell me all about it afterwards.

Loren created the Monster Works for us, which fed us ideas for our monsters like "ear muffs," "nose hair," and "big knee caps."
