Thunder Cats
. . . with apologies to Sarah for my cartoonification of her (and her cats)! Yes, this comic was based on a storm-and-cat-related conversation at work. The comic departs from reality a bit -- for example, in real life my desk is nowhere near the window. However, there is a statue of a cow up on a pole near my office.

Meta-doodle
That's right: doodles about doodling.
If these don't make sense, just be glad. Do not attempt to discuss them with your MCM TA.

Halloween
So, I was away on Halloween this year, in sunny, warm, non-spooky Utah. I was imagining what the weather might be like back in Massachusetts, thinking about how some years it is So Cold on Halloween! It can kinda ruin your costume when you have to bundle up!

Strings
A drawing of my favorite "Strings" for Illustration Friday.
I did not intend to depict any particular song or band, but here are a couple that were playing in my head:
The Wedding Present - All this and More
The June Brides - Enemies
UPDATE:
And here are some of my sketch doodles.
Getting a bit shoegazey towards the end . . . Alright, here's one last bit of nerdy music nostalgia from me, and then I'm back to drawing:
Ride - Chelsea Girl

I'm not sure why I felt compelled to draw this . . .
. . . or to post it on my blog for that matter, but here it is!
Scroll through fast and pretend it is animated.
Discussion Guide
1. So, uh . . . where did his bike land?
2. What kind of ducks were those?
3. How did the girl and the dog and the bald guy and the cat get down there so fast? (Answer in the form of a wordless comic, with explanatory vector diagram if necessary.)
4. If some little girl gave you a push on your bike and you lost control and almost ran over some rare endangered ducks and then flew off a cliff and landed in a giant tub of water . . . well, how would you feel? Pretty good, I bet.
