This is one of the comics I have in the show, except this is the Spanish translation that appeared in the Mexican version of Nick Mag. I always think it's funny to see that they even translate the sound-effects nonsense words!

Also Ten Years Ago

Ten years ago today, I started my previous web site, Mreow.com. Audrey made me this awesome cross-stitch for it. Today, Mreow.com lies dormant, but like a volcano, it could become active again.

In the meantime, here's a shot of my work space in the corner of the living room, and what I am working on, still (which was also begun ten years ago, in a different form).

Ten years ago

Well, I don't remember the exact date, but January 2000 was when Cathy and I met, registering for classes at MassArt. So The Zeroes were pretty good!

Keys Overboard!

Three years ago today, I drew this for a zine that Jared Katz was putting together. I just sat down and drew the whole thing with no plan, which is very rare for me, but I remember it was fun to do.
I don't think the zine ever came out. Where are you, Jared?
Anyway, zoom in on that picture and see if you can find the lost keys!

Amazingly, Zine World still exists, and they just put together a free PDF calendar that includes this cover. I don't know why!

Those were The Zeroes.

I've been wanting to do some reflecting on the previous ten years (I like to refer to them as The Zeroes.), but I haven't had time!
