Celestial Seasonings has such great illustrations for their teas, but for the last few years they have been ruining their packaging with a really ugly re-design. What are they thinking???

Monday was March 9th

March 9th is a special day because of Jack Chang. Here's what he says about it: "This is a yearly project I’ve been doing since 1996, where I ask friends, acquaintances and total strangers to write, draw, take a photo or otherwise create some sort of art about what they did, thought, saw on March 9. The date is random. It’s just a fun snapshot of the world and all the people in it. I then post the entries a few months later."

A Handy Guide

As I drew this on Saturday, it was incredibly warm and sunny, and it seemed like spring was here - I was starting to doubt myself! But then I was vindicated as it snowed all day on Monday! Today it's kinda gray and rainy. We'll cycle through these variations a few more times before it's over.

This guy is very proud of his new sweater.

So make sure you say something nice about it. Maybe you could mention the intricate , kaleidoscopic weave? Or the poignancy of seeing the African savanna at night depicted on a man's belly. I don't know.
