Exploring a New World
This was my entry for the poster contest at this past weekend's NESCBWI conference, and I was psyched to get second place in the "Published" category. (Check out Russ Cox's first-place poster. Wow!) I had a great time and met lots of wonderful people. Thanks, everyone!
Check out Casey Girard's Octo-Pus in Boots sketchbook which I doodled in at the conference, alongside an all-star cast!

Finished another sketchbook today

I only had a couple pages to work with, so I got worried about screwing up! Worrying is never good for drawing. This doodle got me to loosen up.
Sadly, my source for mini-sketchbooks in Cambridge, Bob Slate, is going out of business, and they don't have any left! And the place in Central Square doesn't carry them—where am I gonna go?!?

Meta-doodle
That's right: doodles about doodling.

If these don't make sense, just be glad. Do not attempt to discuss them with your MCM TA.
