Heeby Jeeby #3 is here!

You can buy one from Bob.

The Cat's Pajamas

The Hairdresser's Hand

Speaking of Halloween and weird hairdos, here's a comic I drew back in 1997.

Happy Halloween!

One Hundred Words: A Short Story

MICE!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say "hi" at MICE on Saturday. It was a blast. Here's Bob and I at the Heeby Jeeby table:

Thanks to Renee Kurilla for the photo. Check out her MICE report for more. And also AIB's MICE flickr set. Hope to see you next year!

Oh, yeah, and you might notice in the photo that we are seated directly under our own artwork which was hanging on the wall. It was just like in The Muppets Take Manhattan:

A Couple of Comics Events in Cambridge This Week

First up: Thursday, 7:00 at the Harvard Book Store is the release party for Minimum Paige, an anthology of Boston-area comics artists. I haven't seen the book yet, but I know it's gonna be good!

Then on Saturday, it's time for MICE, upstairs in the Porter Exchange building. I will be there all day with Bob Flynn. We've got issue 2 of Heeby Jeeby Comix and lots of other stuff. Stop by and say "hi!"

Groovy!

Click to see it closer-up. Or come to Comic Art New England Saturday night to see it even closer-up than that!

Comic Art New England

I'm hoping to make it to the opening reception this Saturday, but I will probably be late. Anyway, check out the show some time. The original paintings for my eel comic* are hanging, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else is in the show!

* The version online is digitally colored, but I did a watercolor version for the second print issue of Heeby Jeeby Comix, and I like that a lot better. Come see it!
