I'm still working on it . . .

I'll share more later . . . promise!
The whole thing is drawn and scanned, but now I'm cleaning up the scans, which takes a long time.

The Amazing Flying Little Guys

These four fantastic diminutive gentlemen were in my show last month, but they make their online debut today. Welcome, guys.

I was interviewed . . .

. . . by Greg Cook for his excellent New England Journal of Aesthetic Research, and . . .

here it is!

Greg is a great guy and a wonderful comics artist. In fact, I wish he would draw more comics! But he's also very good at writing about art with clarity and insight. I love that he looks for art everywhere, and seems to consider that anything and everything might be interesting and valuable, whether it's a gallery show, an installation, a zine, or the food art and carnival rides at the Topsfield Fair. His site is well worth perusing.

Peace, MJ

When Michael Jackson died, it brought me back to before he was so obviously disturbed, long ago, when I really loved his music. It was the Thriller album, which was the first tape I owned, back in elementary school. I remembered how all the kids loved him, how he made us want to dance. And I remembered one particular time of listening to him in the school cafegymnatorium, us trying to moonwalk, jump up on our toes, etc. We were dead serious, but I'm sure it would've been hilarious to witness!

The second tape I ever got was Weird Al making fun of Michael Jackson - I loved them both!
